Waka Tai-a-mai Heritage Journey’s is a Maori family owned and locally operated cultural encounter. Internationally re known as one of best cultural experiences in Northland’s Bay of Islands, you will be left with lasting impressions of countless sights of significance and heritage landscapes which make for a perfect combination of history and scenic beauty.

Your VIP tour director Hone Mihaka, is a member of the New Zealand Tourism Industry Association. My proven ancestry can be traced back to the earliest descendents of the Ngapuhi chiefs of Northland.
