Te Urewera Treks
Join us on our unique treks & experience nature as it was meant to be. Discover Te Urewera - the land of Tuhoe, children of the mist - renowned for its incredible wilderness landscapes & diverse native plants & birds.

We offer 1 day treks in the magnificent indigenous Whirinaki Forest Park - David Bellamy called it 'one of the great forests of the world'. We also offer 2 day & 3 day treks in the remote wilderness of Te Urewera National Park, including the beautiful Lake Waikaremoana.

Our experienced local Maori guides bring the forest alive with their extensive knowledge of the plants, wildlife & local histories.

Treks include return shuttle from Rotorua, meals, campsite/hut accommodation (overnight treks) & optional hot pool dip.
