Stonehurst Farm Horse Treks
What could be more spectacular than horse trekking across 800 acres of gentle rolling hills, through rivers and across pasture land, exploring forests and trails while taking in the beauty of a traditional 7th generation New Zealand working farm.

Our excursions range from a gentle farm meander by horse back to meet our farm animals and get a taste of farm life, to an adventurous half day ride into the hills, splashing through rivers or up to hill tops with panorama views to watch the sunset. We offer a truly superior horse trekking experience for a diverse range of visitors, of all ages and all riding skill levels. Our farm studio accommodation is ideal for couples and families looking for an authentic taste of New Zealand rural life.
