On the banks of the mighty Buller River is Berlins Cafe & Lodging. Phenomonal views from the cafe windows, and a great stopping point between Inangahua and Westport. Short native bush walks, beach volleyball, fishing, kayaking, internet, and birdsong for music. Steeped in history dating back to the 1800's where gold was first discovered on the West Coast in 1859. Berlins was to be first known as "The Old Diggings", and became established as a goldmining settlement. We are able to cater for all visitors to our area, from the free independent traveller to the large Coach Tours.
