Konewa Cottage
Konewa Cottage is just 10 minutes walk from the picturesque Pohangina River. The river is home to rainbow and brown trout and is popular with local anglers.

Comfortable wading is available for several kilometers upstream and downstream. Shorts and boots are all that are required in summer months but warmer gear is definitely recommended in winter.

Anglers do require a fishing license, which can be purchased in the nearby towns of Palmerston North and Feilding.

We can also recommend local fishing guides to enhance your experience.
