Ti Kouka Gardens are set in a coastal location with stunning views of the Hokianga Habour. Set in approx two hectares they have been established over the last 15 years from a property covered in ti tree and kikuyu and exposed to strong westerly and south westerly winds - a challenge for any gardener! Native vegetation is being replanted with sub tropical under plantings such as bromeliads. Water gardens are also a feature with four pond areas being developed to include water plants and day lilies. The garden has been named Ti Kouka(Cabbage tree) The garden is open 7 days a week except when conditions become too wet in winter.
