The New Zealand Birding Network promotes ecotourism and birdwatching in New Zealand on a sustainable ecological commercial basis, and New Zealand as a bird watching destination both nationally and internationally. The Network seeks to increase the knowledge and understanding of birds and their importance to sustainable ecological systems. The New Zealand Birding Network is a marketing collective operating as an association, and it is a non profit organisation. All funds received are invested in marketing and promoting birding in New Zealand, both within NZ and internationally.
