When you discover charming and Historic Greytown, nestled in the heart of beautiful Wairarapa, don't pass up the oportunity to visit Harvest Art Gallery. Home to artist Lisa Matthys and photographer Salvi Frika, their 120 year old villa on Main street features a small gallery with examples of their work and a rare opportunity to engage with the artists themselves.Salvi's moody and evocative contemporary style of photography captures glimpses of surrounding local scenes as well as a fascinating selection of black and white, limited edition works. Lisa's expressive paintings on canvas offer a complete visual contrast and yet the two combine to offer a creative and memorable destination. Also on display is NZ jewellery, sculpture and ceramics.
