Aramatai Gardens
12 Mapara North Rd, Aramatai, Te Kuiti

Aramatai Gardens
Situated at the head of a valley surrounded by rock cliffs, this large 15 year old picturesque, tranquil garden is created on natural undulating boulder strewn farmland, with expansive lawns and walking tracks. A cascading water-fall joins two large ponds. An island of natural native wetland plants enhances the top pond, the lower pond is planted with various Irises plus other water loving plants, and has its own island, resembling Stewart Island, and so named. An old fashioned fruit orchard, vegetable & herb garden supplies the home with produce all year around.
Inclusive is a Museum of Antique Musical Instruments, Cane Fishing Rods, English Porcelain, Crystal and Silver available for viewing.
Also a working farm with walking tracks.
