Daysh House Garden

Daysh House is a heritage resource identified by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. The garden covers two hectares, featuring parkland with deciduous trees, a wide range of New Zealand native trees and shrubs, abundant native bird life, a lake, perennial beds, shrubberies, and shade beds. It is open by appointment. Group and individual visits are welcome.
There is an entry charge of $6 per person (no charge for children when accompanied by parents). Daysh House Garden complements the styles of other open gardens in the Carterton district, particularly with its wide range of flowering perennials, herbs and native flora.
Visitors are welcome to picnic in the garden which is also close to cafes, vineyards and the Tararua Forest Park.
