pureORAwalks operates out of 3 forest locations; Pureora Forest Park, Tongariro National Park, and Whirinaki Forest Park.
The experience offered by pureORAwalks includes cultural components and on track interpretation by Maori guides whose ancestors have used the forest resources for centuries.
On request, pureORAwalks will deliver interpretation that will focus on a topic specified by you.
Focus interpretation can be from a Maori cultural, forest ecology, geothermal/volcanic, or conservation context.
As kaitiaki (guardians), our conservation tour aims to support the restoration, preservation and sustainability of native forests for future generations.
