Valeside Gardens
Valeside Gardens are unique in that they have over 500 ton of local blue stone rock in the garden, which has been used to pave the huge patios,retain banks,add character to the pond and water features. The plants are rare and unusual and span from NZ natives to sub tropical's. You will see a NZ ponga house which houses many different native orchids and ferns. We have panoramic views over Auckland and the mornings are the best time to visit. Seating is available if you wish to bring your own picnic and morning/afternoon teas/ and lunches can be arranged with prior notice. We host weddings and wedding photos. Jacque the owner of the garden is happy to give you a guided tour of the garden.
