Pohutu Cultural Theatre presents an authentic Maori cultural show played out under the gaze of five water gods, each intricate carving brought to life through running water and dancing lights.
Experience myths and legends, dance and song and the renowned Haka. Traditional costumes spin and twirl beneath a vibrant light show with emotive imagery beamed across the supporting cast of water gods.
The evening ends with a contemporary New Zealand feast with selected dishes prepared and cooked, as has been done by local Maori for generations, in a stone pit of steam.
