Kaikoura Wilderness Walks
Join us on a path of discovery through primeval native forests, among pristine mountains, sparkling streams and dramatic alpine landscapes.

Kaikoura Wilderness Walks takes you on an exclusive guided walk, at your own pace, through the Puhi Peaks Nature Reserve. This is a protected Significant Natural Area of international importance, that is renowned as a haven for a diverse array of rare and endangered native species of flora and fauna.

Guests are treated to a truly authentic and diverse wilderness encounter, combined with delicious meals and well appointed accommodation in an outstanding alpine environment.

Shearwater Lodge, an ecolodge with six guest rooms (ensuite) is set dramatically in an alpine valley at 1000m.
