Skippers Canyon Jet
On this family owned jet boat trip, getting there is half the fun. We offer a 2 1/2 hour round trip experience including a 30 min Jetboat ride on the upper Shotover river. Taking you from Queenstown, over the mountains to the Skippers road. This "road to riches" was carved by hand by gold miners over 140 years ago. Now designated an area of outstanding natural beauty it is a must see. On arrival in Skippers Canyon we are the exclusive operator Jetboating through the sheer rock walls of Skippers Canyon past 120 year old mining relics & including the world famous Hamilton spins. Our family has worked in Skippers Canyon for 5 generations & we offer you an opportunity to see the history of Queenstown combined with our other passion, jetboating.
