Makoura Horse Treks and trail rides take you down through bush clad Manawatu farmland and breath-taking views of the beautiful Ruahine Ranges.

It is horse trekking at its best, within an hours drive of Palmerston North and Feilding. This is New Zealand at her finest - beautiful scenery, virgin bush, native birds and wildlife, and most important of all: peace and quiet.

We provide a variety of horse treks, to cater for all ability levels. From learn as you go rides, to full two day treks in the ranges, we can provide a horse trek to suit your needs.
