The Moana Eco Tour takes in some of the most beautiful scenery of the East Coast of Gisborne, come on a boat voyage of discovery, hear local history and experience the marine environment.

Visit Whangara Island, where our ancestors (Paikea) rode a whale and the movie Whale Rider was filmed. Stop at the marine reserve Te Tapuwae O Rongokako, and hear the local legend of the reserve.

Get close to a seal colony and play with the most intelligent animal in the ocean the dolphin. This two hour boat trip is a marine experience all ages can enjoy.
