Lake Cruise and Mou Waho Nature Walk. A 35 minute boat cruise past a shag nesting site and many species of duck, to the middle of Lake Wanaka is magical Mou Waho Island.
From the lake we take a bush walk to the serene Arethusa Pool, the birdlife abounds due to no introduced predators, Grey Warbler, Fantail, Falcon, bellbird, Wood Pigeon, and the rare Buff Weka, are just some of the Fauna you are likely to see.
At the top, we have a panorama of snow capped Southern Alps and pristine alpine views over both lakes, Arethusa Pool, a unique geological formation of a lake on top of an island.
As part of your experience you can plant a native tree to help reforest the island. Morning or afternoon tea supplied. Allow 4 hours.
