Experience NZ Cup & Show Week – Rodeo Style!

Every year in Christchurch, thousands travel from around the globe to experience New Zealand Cup & Show Week. This uniquely Canterbury occasion offers the chance to experience premier racing, fashion, food and entertainment. In an action-packed week, you can don fabulous fashions, get a taste of rural life at the country’s Royal A&P Show, local produce and wine, have a flutter at the horses or Greyhounds at New Zealands biggest and most prestigious racing event, dance to live music or see the country’s most popular indoor International Rodeo.

The International Rodeo is New Zealands largest rodeo, held annually indoors at Westpac Arena as the official finale to NZ Cup & Show Week in November. Competitors from Australia, USA, Canada and Brazil will battle the Kiwis for rodeo domination in bareback bronc, saddle bronc and bull riding. There will also be a NZ barrel racing championship. This event takes the sport to a level like never before with the use of sound & lighting effects, pyrotechnics, LPG flamethrowers and explosives which ensures a sold out stadium every year.
