Circool Circus are launching the festival on Saturday 30 May with an afternoon celebrating 2 years of Clowning in Bream Bay held in the Waipu Hall.

That weekend is also the long weekend, so the usual Waipu Street Market on Saturday and Antiques and Collectables Market on Sunday offer an excuse to visit the village of Waipu.

Waipu Family Market will have it’s debut on Sunday morning 14 June from 10am with its focus on genuine local producers and artisans and on-site Café serving fine food.

Tartan Week 27 - 4 July will see a host of activities to celebrate Waipu’s scottish heritage. The village will be awash with tartan and shoppers wearing tartan may be surprised with complementary shortbread! Wear your tartan to Waipu!
Other activities include:
* Races at Ruakaka Racecourse
* Ladies night in Waipu
* Mid Winter Swims around Bream Bay - Bream Bay’s a cool place with a warm heart!
* Bogwood Productions will once again be doing their Act Plays around dinner at Artform
* Montana Poetry Day and Poetry Competition
* Winter@Waipu Photo Competition
