Would you pay to play? What if the cost was friendship?…
In a school playground a girl is injured playing bullrush and it’s banned. Later a foursquare accident is blown into a media frenzy and unsupervised playing is outlawed. Forced to play in private “Playparks” Judd finds himself separated from his friends when he can’t afford the entry fee. When he decides to take matters into his own hands and confront the man who is taking his friends away he discovers a secret motivation. A new play by acclaimed New Zealand playwright, Gary Henderson, offers 8-12 years a compelling theatrical experience.
“The play is beautifully written. Gary Henderson is one of NZ’s finest playwrights…” Robyn Payne
