A Day on the Green
13 Dec 2009

A Day on the Green
The B-52s and The Proclaimers are heading to New Zealand to perform at three New Zealand 'A Day on the Green' winery events.

The B-52s have been around since the 70s with their quirky and unconventional take on the new wave sound of the era. And with three unique vocalists, The B-52s were an upbeat irresistable party band.

Twins Craig and Charlie Reid, aka The Proclaimers, are Scotland's finest Celtic soul brothers. Their consummate pop songs are charged with emotional honesty, political fire and wit, and include the huge hit, "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)".

Supported by Dave McArtney and the Pink Flamingos who were formed out of the ashes of the demise of Hello Sailor and Dragon.

Set in the magnificent wineries of Villa Maria Estate (and elsewhere around the country at The Mud House Winery and Alana Estate), A Day on the Green gives patrons the chance to see international acts in a fantastic surrounding.
