The Parihaka International Peace Festival celebrates the vision and example of Te Whiti and Tohu, and the openness of the people of Parihaka to advocate non-violent action in the face of oppressive forces and daunting odds. This vision can help us forge a culture of peace and nonviolence throughout the world now and into the future.
