New Zealand Cup and Show Week
Christchurch will turn on its spring colours as New Zealand’s largest festival of racing, fashion, agriculture and entertainment takes over the city.

Show us your lucky streak at one of the six major race meetings where top talent on and off the track combine with fashion and entertainment. From designer collections and trends on the catwalk to Fashion on the Field competitions at Addington and Riccarton, the week is all about fashion so show us your style on the track or at Style Christchurch.
Country comes to town for the Royal New Zealand Show where the very best of rural life will be showcased and you can experience the unique sights, sounds and smells of the country along with plenty of retail therapy.
The week draws to a close with a taste of the wild west so show us your cowboy boots and saddle up for the International Rodeo when 32 of the world’s best cowboys and cowgirls battle it out in bull riding, saddle bronc and bareback bronc plus an exciting cowgirl barrel racing challenge.

When the dust settles and the sun goes down show us your dancing shoes as the city’s bars and restaurants come alive with festival crowds wining and dining to top music and entertainment.
