Pressed Flower Art Exhibition
Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple is proud to exhibit the Pressed Flower Exhibition of Shanshan Shaio, on display from 6th September - 21st November 2009.

The Temple is honoured to be the first Western country to show these exceptional works of art in the the Guang Yuan Art Gallery.

These creative concepts using flowers as material combine cultural and religious elements to create images of birds, animals, fairies and Buddhas.

The artists artistic creation and attitude towards life demonstrate her appreciation of the beauty of flowers and spirit of patience.

You will be inspired by her work that touches the hearts of people from different countries, races, cultures and living backgrounds.
