Tarapex 2008 National Stamp Collecting Exhibition

Stamp collectors from throughout New Zealand and Australia select the very best of their stamp collections and enter them into various classes of competition. These collections are mounted into display frames and judged and critiqued by qualified national and international judges.

The Exhibition is open to the public for the three day duration and stamp collectors will be visiting from throughout New Zealand, Australia and other countries. Entry to Tarapex 2008 is FREE. Opening hours are 10am till 5pm Friday 7th and Saturday 8th and 10am till 4pm Sunday 9th November 2008.

Tarapex major sponsor New Zealand Post will also be in attendance at Tarapex, showcasing New Zealand stamps and promoting stamp collecting.
The New Zealand Philatelic Youth Council will be present at Tarapex, to help and encourage young stamp collectors, with advice and giveaways.

Tarapex 2008 is being run and organized by volunteers who are passionate about stamp collecting and who are donating their time, efforts and resources free of charge.
