Kapiti Food Fair 2009
Last year, Kapiti Food Fair 2008 attracted 5000 visitors who enjoyed the festive atmosphere of the event and stallholders had a good day of sales, This year's event will be bigger and better, to be held on Saturday, 5 December at the Kapiti Campus of Whitireia Community Polytechnic.

As well as international food stalls and food products such as cheeses, olive oil, honey products, chocolates, cakes, fudge, biscuits, bread, processed food, and fresh produce of farm eggs, fruit and vegetables, Kapiti Food Fair 2009 will feature a series of cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs. There will be wine tasting and food sampling, and visitors will be entertained with performance from local community groups.

An added attraction is the charity lunch involving Martin Bosley, a local celebrity chef.
