Curling at the Winter Games NZ
22 Aug 2009  - 29 Aug 2009

Curling at the Winter Games NZ
The Winter Games will see elite curling teams from around the Pacific rim competing in the township of Naseby, Central Otago. This competition is designed to give athletes an introduction to competing at the 2010 Winter Olympics being held in Canada. Countries competing include Australia, Canada, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand and the USA. Spectators will be able to watch the action for free from an outdoor marquee with live television coverage from directly inside the rink. During the two days of finals action (Friday 28th and saturday 29th August), spectator seating will be assembled inside the curling rink itself, for "up close" viewing at approx. $6 per person per match.
