E:Scape Sculpture in the Landscape
14 Mar 2010
- 30 May 2010
This exhibition is the summer show at the Sculpture Park, organised annually by the Waikato Sculpture Trust. The guest curator has yet to be appointed. The Sculpture Trust expects that there will be at least 40 works for sale and display in the exhibition.
The Sculpture Park is a 42 acre woodland garden, in the site of a rehabilitated quarry excavated into the hills overlooking the Waikato Plain. The sculptures are set along the 2km network of paths, steps and tracks, almost all areas are wheelchair accessible. Wide panoramic views and intimate planted spaces make this an ideal spot for the display of large and small sculptures.
