Our tours will see you travelling up the valleys and over the mountains of this unique region. The area is steeped in history from the earliest settlers to the devastating 1929 earthquake. See and touch the huge 4000 ton rock which fell in the big quake blocking the Tutaki valley for 4 months. The on board photo albums will give you a peek into the past lives of some of our earliest settlers (you may be related). You will get a trip on Lake Rotoroa to the Sabine Hut or walk some of the many trails around the lake. Feed the Native birds and hear the birdsong. Your senses will be drenched in the sights, smells and texture of the awesome scenery.
