Waka Taiamai Heritage Journeys - Te Hoenga Waka
Te Hoenga Waka is a 90 minute holistic, interactive and cultural learning experience; a journey of spiritual discovery, a journey of distinction and a unique opportunity to paddle in the wake of our great seafaring ancestors aboard a traditional Maori canoe and alongside a Maori warrior crew. Paddle to our sacred island paradise - Motu Maire, for a cultural encounter of epic proportions. With Ngapuhi as your host, our traditional Maori canoe journeys are a once in a lifetime opportunity to get involved in our Ngapuhi culture that only a few will ever have the privilege to experience.
