The 'Classic Wine Country' is situated in Kumeu, just 25 minutes from the heart of Auckland. Our family has lived in this region since 1922 and has seen many changes in this wine-growing district, which was the original wine producing region in NZ.
As we have 'grown-up' alongside many of these wineries, we give an historical overview when we take you wine-tasting in this area. Some of the wineries here are; Nobilo's (2nd largest producer in NZ), Matua wines (adjacent to the Hunting Lodge Restaurant), Kumeu River, Soljan's, Cooper's Creek, and many smaller boutique wineries.
If you are a real wine connoisseur wanting to taste at lot of these wineries, consider our 'Exclusive Experiences' tour for an historical overview. Lunch included.
