Active Earth - Volcanic Plateau
A guided 5 day small group (max 11) hiking adventure exploring the Central North Island. With a mix of hiking and touring we take in Rotorua, thermal areas and Tongariro National Park. Combines multi-day hiking and rafting with short walks and cultural activities. Safari starts and finishes in Auckland, with the option to connect with the train to Wellington or get off at Waitomo. This trip has one multi-day hike on it with 2 nights spent in huts in the Tongariro National Park. And, one of the best things is we are fantastic value for money.
