Bike and experience the melting pot of art and culture of Whangarei visiting such sites as the Waka'n'Wave sculpture made of rock and stone, then onto the Pouwhenua carved poles outside the central library. Hoe paddle the Hatea River in a Waka Ama 6 person outrigger canoe and relish in the historical hertiage of the river. Ride on the locally invented Aquacykl and peddle the Hatea River savouring the moment at your own leisure.
