R. Tucker Thompson Sail Training Trust
A unique voyage on the tall ship R.Tucker Thompson in partnership with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust has been charted for you to rediscover the first encounters between people, land and sea.

Starting with the first Maori settlers then early Europeans arrivals, Maori and Europeans learned, sometimes with tragic consequences, about each others cultures and environment.

Experience what early settlers did as you view the coast from the decks of a tall ship; sailing from the Bay of Islands, through the Cavailli Islands and the beautiful Whangaroa Harbour. The trips, now in their fourth year have received rave reviews so don't miss out. Includes all meals, accommodation, guest historian and handouts.
