Active Earth - Volcanoes and Rainforest
The classic time-proven 10-day Auckland to Wellington hiking/camping trip. This is a guided small group (maximum 11 clients) hiking adventure exploring the North Island. Hike in remote and astonishingly beautiful wilderness areas in the central and southern North Island including; hiking the rainforests of Whirinaki/Urewera, kayaking the Rotorua lakes, hiking in Tongariro National Park and on the volcano Mt Taranaki. This is an active trip (3 multi-day hikes) with nights spent in remote mountain huts or camping, including two nights spent in huts in the Tongariro National Park. Trip starts in Auckland and finishes in Wellington. One of the best things is we are fantastic value for money.
