Food and Wine Tourism Network
The New Zealand Food and Wine Tourism Network’s vision is for New Zealand food and wine tourism experiences to be world class and that in turn these become a key driver in attracting visitors to our shores.
A large part of the Network’s current focus is the development of more high value experiences that offer the very best flavours and experiences of our key wine and food regions and are able to be pre-booked by agents around the world. The Network was formed in 2004 and now has over 40 members, including Pernod Ricard (formerly Montana Wines) and New Zealand Winegrowers as well as a number of regional tourism organisations, iconic wine and food companies and top end accommodation. Al members are dedicated to providing the very best food and wine experiences in their region.
New Collection of Premium Food and Wine Tourism Experiences
A new collection of over 50 commissionable products is now available in an easy to use Product Manual designed specifically for travel agents, media and other travel professionals. Many of these experiences are guided by local experts, offering visitors the ability to go behind the scenes and meet those involved in creating some of New Zealand’s finest flavours.
The primary purpose for creating this new product manual of premium experiences (prices range from $NZ150 to $NZ1,500 per person) is to encourage greater pre-booking of food and wine options for visitors coming to New Zealand.
Regular updates to this product manual are planned to ensure we continue to provide an appealing and useful mix of new and well established options for your clients.
To obtain a hard copy of the Product Manual and for any other enquiries, please email Craig Wilson.
