Lakeside Gourmet Delights
Edgewater Resort has just released a new ‘Lakeside Gourmet Break’ package, designed especially for fine food aficionados.
Edgewater Resort is located directly on the shores of Lake Wanaka and so guests can soak up spectacular scenery while indulging their taste buds.
Leading the gourmet delights is new Executive Chef, Damon McGinniss who has recently created new menus in both the flagship Sargoods Restaurant and the more casual Wineglass Cafe. According to Edgewater Resort General Manager, Mr Leigh Stock, "Damon brings a fresh style of cooking encompassing local produce with a distinctive Kiwi flair".
The Lakeside Gourmet Break features one night’s accommodation in a one bedroom suite, a food and beverage credit and complimentary breakfast in Sargoods Restaurant.
"Central Otago is fast gaining a reputation for its Pinot Noir wines and these, combined with some enticing dishes definitely tantalise the taste buds" concludes Leigh.

Edgewater Resort is a 65 all suite resort which holds a four star plus Qualmark® grading. In the last five years over $5million has been spent on upgrading the property. Ongoing improvements are occurring in 2009.
