India Trade Famil Arrives with the Cricket Team
Tourism New Zealand with support from Tourism Auckland, Positively Wellington Tourism, Christchurch & Canterbury Tourism and local operators hosted a group of seven travel company directors during the Indian cricket tour of New Zealand.
The aim was to improve knowledge of New Zealand regions and products among Senior Management from leading tour companies using the Indian Cricket Series with New Zealand as a backdrop.
The group visited the Sky Tower in Auckland, the International Antarctic Centre and the Tramway in Christchurch, along with a day trip to the Canterbury resort of Terrace Downs. They were surprised by a helicopter trip back to Christchurch. In Wellington, they visited the New Zealand Cricket Museum, Te Papa, Parliament and discovered the wild South Coast with Seal Coast Safaris.
Of course, they were also guests at 20:20 Cricket matches in Wellington and Christchurch. Many thanks to the Millennium Hotel in Christchurch for the use of their Corporate Box.
