4 Star Airport Hotel to Open in time for Rugby World Cup
Sudima Hotels New Zealand will add a third hotel to their portfolio at Auckland Aiport to open early 2011.
Glamorton Developments Limited, owner of Sudima Hotels New Zealand, have unveiled plans to build and manage a new 150 room hotel at Auckland Airport. The hotel, to be known as Sudima Hotel Auckland Airport, will cost $30 million and is cheduled for completion by the 1st Quarter 2011, just in time for the Rugby World Cup.
The development will occupy the last available freehold site along the George Bolt Drive and upon completion will be one of the closest hotels to the airport.
With 150 rooms Sudima Hotel Auckland Airport will be a mid-sized hotel, well placed to serve business and conference needs in addition to those of tourists in transit. As well as an all day restaurant and elegant bar the hotel will feature a dedicated ballroom, opening out to landscaped gardens, making it an all season event venue.
There will also be an inviting pool in lush surroundings and a gym with latest fitness equipment.
The hotel will employ over 100 people and will incorporate the latest green initiatives.
