September 2011 Product Update

Spring in New Zealand is not to be missed; the snows have melted (in most places) and life is bursting from every region. Flowers are in bloom, the lambing season is well underway, the days are longer and the temperatures are getting warmer.

For those of you with clients in New Zealand over spring, make sure they tap into the REAL NZ Festival (www.nz2011.govt.nz/experiencerealnz) and take advantage of exciting regional events, available only during this time.

As always, if you have any questions about any of this information, please do not hesitate to contact us (kimd@tnz.govt.nz).

Pure Cruise New Zealand

Pure Cruise New Zealand has launched a new marae experience. For international groups (minimum of 10 people) this combo tour offers something extra special. Guests have the opportunity to be hosted by local iwi at Tapuaekura Marae. The one and half hour experience includes all the traditional elements of visiting a marae; a welcome, challenge, speeches and greeting, as well as a kapa haka performance. The tour is combined with a cruise aboard our catamaran Tiua. To respect local iwi who use the marae regularly for ceremonies, the number of tours run will be limited.
