The fantastic Art gallery in an old church right next door, a cafe in an elevated DC 3 aircraft, a great pub serving good value hearty meals, walking tracks along the old rail line, river rafting adventures, and just up the road an exhilarating flying fox and bungy jump into the Rangitikei river canyon. An ideal place to lay your head for a day or two of adventure or relaxing on the way to/from the volcanoes.
