Our Farm is a 200 acre sheep and beef farm in the Matariki Valley just 15km from the Kahurangi National Park, start of the Wangapeka Track and beautiful Wangapeka River. The farm itself is the homestead block of the Matariki Run established in the 1880's and farmed by our family for the last 76 years.
There has long been a need for comfortable accommodation providing a close base for individuals or families wishing to enjoy this unique part of New Zealand.
Matariki Cottage is a beautiful 3 bedroom self contained cottage built in a chalet style and set amongst 5 acres of grounds and old English trees. A loved family home, fully furnished with all necessary amenities. A private airstrip provides access to all areas of New Zealand.
