IslandStay is a family owned and run accommodation facility catering for all types of family, interest, scientific and educational groups, located in the north, close to ocean beach and the Okiwi airstrip, near popular mountain and coastal trails.
The property is run on organic permaculture principles. There are two separate dwellings in a private setting on 11 acres, by a meandering stream lined with old-growth native trees.
The 3 bedroom house sleeps 8 and the lodge, which has 3 bedrooms, 1 with alcove beds, sleeps 9. Both have large decks, 240v solar-sourced power, LPG cooking/fridge/hot water and are self-cater with bedding provided.
