Just 3 1/2 hours from Christchurch, passing some of New Zealand's most beautiful Lakes and being 1 hour from Mt Cook and 2 hours from Queenstown, this is a popular stop for fishermen, hikers, trampers & all outdoor enthuiasts.

The Omarama Gliding Airfield is a 5 minutes walk away & the Clay Cliffs, a world heritage site, is a 20 minute drive and golf is at you back door step.

Fine Dining is a speciality of this homestay with menus using the regions finest local produce such as Mount Cook salmon and McKenzie rack of lamb.
