Nestled between the Takitimu Mountains and the Southern Alps, We, Bev & Murray at Connemara Fiordland offer genuine Kiwi hospitality when you choose to stay in one of our self-contained cottages. We are born and bred Southlanders who enjoy traveling & meeting other genuine folk. We have been farming in Southland for over 40 years (sheep, cattle, etc) & now enjoy deer farming.
Connemara Fiordland is only 8km from Manapouri where the boats depart for the majestic Doubtful Sound cruise tour. Manapouri is the gateway to Doubtful Sound.
Our Connemara Anglers Arms is a self contained cottage with only a 2 minute walk to the wharf. Murray has various interests, his main one being microlight aircraft & he enjoys flying around New Zealand.
