Whanganaki Adventures is a guided bus tour offering a variety of options for travellers to explore the Taranaki and Wanganui regions from Taupo. Options available are from one day to those of a more flexible time period over several weeks. Take a one-day tour to the Bridge to Nowhere on the Whanganui River or complete our whole circuit in three to four days; or Hop on Hop off en route to explore at your leisure. We follow the spectacular touring routes of the Forgotten World Highway 43, the Surf Highway 45 and the Whanganui River Road. Along the way we take in walks to waterfalls, Cape Egmont lighthouse, a trek on Mt Taranaki, New Plymouth city, Dam-dropping, surf lessons, beach wanders at surf breaks and Tawhiti museum.
