Glacier Valley Eco Tours operate a regular shuttle service, "The Glacier Shuttle" from Franz Josef village to the Franz Josef glacier car park and all walking tracks in the glacier valley. It departs every 2 hours and the fare is only $12 return. Save yourself a 9km return walk.
Bookings are essential for pick ups from village. Catch any return Shuttle by arrangement with driver. Shuttle can operate on demand to Fox Glacier and Lake Matheson.
