Nelson Helicopters Ltd has been in business since 1983. The company moved it's operation from Wakefield to Nelson Airport into a purpose built hanger in 2005. We operate 3 helicopters and have a working agreement with Helicopters(NZ)Ltd next door to us on the airfield for larger helicopter operations. Our 24 hour, 7 days a week telephone service is answered by company personal, and the only day we are closed during the year is Christmas Day. We are Qualmarked giving an assurance of safety procedures, our helicopter fleet are new and proudly cared for with noise emmission modification fitted where possible and satelite navigation tracking systems fitted to each helicopter. Scenic flights, filming and fishing provides some of what we do.
