The University of Otago’s New Zealand Marine Studies Centre rolls back the tide to introduce the secrets of the Southern Ocean to visitors.
Peek inside a shark egg, shake hands with an octopus or try a little seaweed with your morning tea! Marine education programmes include guided tours, shore walks, cruises aboard the research vessel, slide show/lectures and other unique marine experiences.
Programmes are offered for schools, universities, general public and special interest groups.
